Eco-Lite is utilized by designers who still want a high level of performance but are limited by weight and price. Although Eco-Lite has less moisture retention and plant choice than Eco-System, it still will outperform most other systems on the market in those categories. With a growing medium depth of 4 inches the eco-light system will hold most 1 gallon of water per square foot. It does so while weighing in at only 17 pounds per square foot.
