Bioroof's Eco-Superlite system is an upgraded option to our lightest pre-vegetated green roof system the Bio-Superlite. Eco-Superlite presents a solution for designers when faced with challenges such as structural limitations, cost restrictions and maintenance issues by providing them with all the same hallmarks of the Bio-Superlite with the addition of a layer of growing media to boost water retention and storm water management capabilities.
Two inches of growing media and a robust layer of mineral wool ensure that even though this is a minimal, low-cost system it still has the superior quality and performance parameters expected from Bioroof green roof systems. Eco-Superlite is the happy medium for projects where both structural limitations and water retention capacity are equally important factors by being light enough on the wallet and the roof while still packing a punch performance-wise. Bioroof Eco-Superlite systems follow the German FLL guidelines for green roof construction.
